Database Comparison Project Management
DBTYP.NET Studio provides the tools you need to compare schema and/or data on supported databases. Compared to other solutions on the market,
DBTYP.NET Studio has built in advanced project management feature where one project can contain multiple schema and/or data comparsions which
you can open and save together. Each comparsion in a project can be either schema or data comparison on any of supported cross database
comparisons between SQL Server, MySQL or Oracle databases.
Adding comparison to a Project
It is very easy to add any additional comparison to any of already created projects or to create new project out of it. In both cases project file keeps complete definition of the comparison.
Save current comparison into new project
- On the File menu, choose Save Project...
- One the Save Project dialog, type project name and press Save
Add current comparison into existing project
- On the File menu, choose Add To Project...
- One the Open Project dialog find and select project where you want to add comparison and press Save
Delete Project
You can delete an entire project permanently, but not by using DBTYP.NET Studio. Instead, use Windows Explorer to delete project definition file .dby
